Welcome to Ashworth Nursery School.

I am delighted to introduce myself as Headteacher of Ashworth Nursery School. This is a wonderful place for your child to start their journey in education. Our aim is to create effective partnerships with families and the wider community. I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Our motto is

Everything we do here at Ashworth Nursery School has the children's well-being and development at the heart. We believe that every child has the right to a good start in life and we aim to provide a high quality start through our early years provision. However, this is more likely to happen when children feel safe and secure. Our staff are skilled at building trusting relationships and focusing on how they can support each and every child to achieve their best. 

Starting nursery is a very important time for you and your child and we aim to make the transition as smooth as possible. 

Our Mission Statement is:

“Everything that we do at Ashworth Nursery School has the children and their individual needs at its roots. The school actively encourages a warm, caring atmosphere and we aim to make your child’s first school days as pleasant as possible and to encourage the feeling that it is fun to learn”.

What our website cannot show you, however, is our supportive and encouraging ethos and the sense of excitement our children have developed for learning.
