15- hours funded places 

 

All three and four year old children can access 15 hours of free early education for 38 weeks from the term after their third birthday (up to 570 hours year). 

 

To apply for 3 and 4 year old free early education please complete an application form and return it to the school office (application forms can be collected from the school office or downloaded from the website via the admissions page).

 

30 hours free childcare for 3 and 4 year old children

 

30 hours free childcare is avaliable for working families who meet the national eligibility criteria up to a maximum of 1,140 hours per year. This is an additional 15 hours childcare on top of the universal 15 hours early education offer (above).

30 hours free childcare for 3 and 4 year old children in foster care

 

Some children in foster care are entitiled to 30 hours free childcare giving foster families the same support as other working households.

15 hours free early education for 2 year old children

 

Available for families receiving some forms of support. If your child is eligible, they can access 15 hours of free early education for 38 weeks from the term after their second birthday up to a maximum of 570 hours per year. At Ashworth Nursery School we are able to accept 2 year old funded places from the child's 3rd birthday.
