Key Person

At Ashworth Nursery School each child will be assigned a Key Person. This relationship provides a 'secure base' from which they can explore and a 'safe haven' to return to in times of needing reassurance or a recharge of the emotional batteries.

We recognise that the most effective relationship is developed when the Key Person and parents/carers work closely together. This develops a sense of safety and security which underpins the foundations for children to develop and learn successfully. 

Morning session:
